PRO COO Katie Shotts goes to Hernando County Association of REALTORS as CEO

PRO Chief Operating Officer Katie Shotts, RCE, e-PRO was selected as the next Hernando County Association of REALTORS CEO. Katie has ten years of experience in the REALTOR family, including 7 years at the 3,200-member Memphis Area Association of REALTORS and 3 years at PRO. She was the Communications Director and staff exec for the 300-member Commercial Council in Memphis, and at PRO served members as the Director of Broker Relations, then Chief Operating Officer. She is also the staff support for District 6, organizing the Leadership Institute, among other efforts.

Katie is extremely passionate about our industry, and has a member-centric approach to everything she does. She serves on five Florida Realtors committees, the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Association Executives Institute Advisory Board and NAR Volunteer Leadership Development Work Group, and is a Sterling R RPAC Investor for the second year in a row.

The current Hernando County Association of REALTORS (HCAR) CEO Barry Stafford is retiring after 7 years at HCAR and many years in the REALTOR family.

“I am so honored to have been entrusted with following Barry’s accomplishments” says Katie. “He has built a solid, financially sound Association with a wonderful culture, and I am thrilled to have earned the right to serve HCAR members.”

Katie will be with us until early August. PRO will undergo a national search to find Katie’s successor.
