PRO was the proud title sponsor of the 2017 IRONKIDS® Clearwater Fun Run on Saturday, April 8. The race weekend was also comprised of a vendor expo and the 14th annual Iron Girl® Clearwater Half Marathon & 5K presented by Outback Steakhouse on Sunday, April 9.
During the weekend we handed out superhero capes to the kids and had markers, glitter, ribbon and glue at our expo tent so they could decorate them. It was a great way for our members to get to engage with the families involved in the race weekend.
We partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast by providing 45 race entries for the IRONKIDS Clearwater Fun Run. Not only did PRO members cheer on the Boys & Girls Clubs athletes at the Fun Run, our YPN (Young Professionals Network) members also decorated superhero capes with the kids at the Wood Valley Club the Wednesday prior to the race.
Through sport and competition, IRONKIDS and Iron Girl encourage active, positive and healthy lifestyles – a perfect match for our vision of strong, vibrant communities centered around every definition of “family” and home.
By sponsoring these events, we showcased the pivotal role REALTORS® play in building vibrant communities where IRONKIDS, Iron Girls and their families live, work and play. Our involvement gave us an opportunity to bring our ideals as REALTORS® to life over the course of the race weekend. Messaging included advocating on behalf of homeowners and helping families discover their dream of “home.” We also showed that REALTORS® are at the heart of the real estate journey, serving as the trusted advisor for their clients.
